Personal OKR for Y2020
Recently, I was considering and sharing objectives and key results for next year to our team. I suddenly thought about writing personal plan for next year using OKR format too. (Honestly, I am addicted to planning)
After looking back my life, I could categorize it into WORK, STUDY, HEALTH and LIFE. Some things are relatively distinct between objectives, key results and action items. But other things are action item itself is a key result. So, for this case I wrote both together.
Lastly, although I can’t publish but there is important secret category, objective, key result and action item myself. So, I am gonna write that in just my personal planner.
WORK 👩💻
Objective 1. Be a person finding out more applicable solutions for our product
Key Result 1. Improve conversion rate by 10% more and retention rate by 15% more
- Action Item 1. Share weekly report by analyzing the data related to users
- Action Item 2. Share weekly report by finding out solutions on technical side and business side both
- Action Item 3. Share weekly report about the results including positive things and negative things after applying the solutions
Objective 2. Make technical environment more robust
Key Result 1. Achieve 100% of objectives and key results for platform team (Unfortunately, I can’t share details here)
- Action Item 1. Collect problems, find solutions and plan for applying them every 2 weeks
- Action Item 2. Share technical lessons through my works to team members once a month
STUDY 📝
Objective 1. Be a person sharing more useful and correct technical information
Key Result 1. Write technical story twice more than 2019, 12 story to 24 story
- Action Item 1. Write story on why I choose some technologies and what I’ve learned about technologies I’m using twice a month (WHY series)
Key Result 2 & Action Item. Do daily commit on GitHub to record small and meaningful code
Key Result 3 & Action Item. Make more than 2 technical presentation in public
Objective 2. Improve my english skill especially for speaking and listening
Key Result 1. Watch more than 2 videos without subtitle with whole understanding and Speak about it vocally
- Action Item 1. Watch the same video during 20 mins everyday until I have a complete understanding, and Repeat this
- Action Item 2. Summarize above action item vocally everyday
- Action Item 3. Talk with english teacher for at least 2 hours a week
HEALTH 🧘
Objective 1. Make exercise a habit more
Key Result 1 & Action Item. Run every morning like now
Objective 2. Improve the muscle
Key Result 1 & Action Item. Do yoga once a week
Key Result 2 & Action Item. Do tennis once a week
Objective 3. Improve the quality of sleep
Key Result 1 & Action Item. Record daily sleeping rating
LIFE☺
Objective 1. Be a person doing somethings I love
Key Result 1. Read more 24 books a year except for technical books
- Action Item 1. Read the book every day during lunch time and before I go to bed for at least 30 mins
